Abstract

The text materializes part of a prerequisite research for obtaining a postdoctoral degree in education. Its main object is the analysis of the National Assessment Policy (PNA) and whose objective is to establish a dialogic movement with the policy notebook to identify the paths presented to literacy in the country. Based on the analysis of the main aspects of the configuration of the guidebook in which the PNA is synthesized, without intending to exhaust the subject, our studies allow us to infer that the PNA devalues the science produced in Brazil, disregards social inequalities as determinants for school failure and adds to the list of subjects to blame for the failure, the Brazilian family, especially the economically disadvantaged
